Spotify’s single biggest flaw is that it does not utilize offline mode quickly enough when in low-service areas.

I find that when I have one or two bars, Spotify struggles to play my music, even if I have it downloaded. Why doesn’t Spotify first check if the music is downloaded, and just play it locally, even if the user is connected to fast internet? Indeed, in a low service area, Spotify struggles and gets stuck – both on my iPhone and my Apple Watch. It’s very frustrating.

When you are in Airplane mode, Spotify immediately goes to only downloaded music, which is great! However, I don’t see why it should hang when you have bad service and have the music downloaded. Just check for the downloaded music first.
